To value a policy the team has to underwrite the insured's health, which today means stitching together three disconnected systems: an instant-summary vendor with gaps in provider coverage, a patient-portal login that often comes back thin (sometimes just labs), and a manual retrieval fallback that calls hospitals, sends the HIPAA authorization, and waits on faxes.
That manual path runs 20 to 30 days per case, and the team is managing dozens of active cases at a time. Long histories come back as thousands of faxed pages with per-page fees attached. None of it fits an asset that has to be priced quickly.

The insured verifies their identity once, and Hubble pulls demographic-matched records across hospital systems through health information exchange networks in seconds, then uses direct EHR logins to reach the records those networks withhold (Epic in particular), and full retrieval where a case still needs it.
Because it is electronic and patient-authorized, there are no per-page pass-through fees, and three separate vendors collapse into one API. The goal set with the team is to replace the manual retrieval process outright.
