Before a member's first visit, the care team asks them to send their labs. Today those arrive as photos and PDFs from all different sources, uploaded by hand into the EHR with no structured ingestion, on top of everything else onboarding already asks of a new member.
These are complex chronic patients who have seen many doctors, so their history is spread far and wide over many years. Assembling it is hard to solve manually, and the next set of conditions the clinic is taking on is a level up in complexity.
